The generous 8 layer clear coated Black Walnut tree bases capture the essence of natural beauty and enhances the Pure Series design for a complete Nature look. We only collect trees when Mother Nature allows us; when it’s naturally fallen. Fallen trees are caused when the tree can no longer support it’s own weight or due to weather conditions.
No two Foundation Base are alike, each part of the tree that we can utlize is calculated into a foundation base or a unique display base for retail stores and shows. Foundation Base is a natural work of art. Each piece varies in size, coloration, and texture.
Variations In Design, Naturally!
Our wood craftsman clean the outer bark of the fallen Black Walnut trees and send it through a planer where the bases are evenly leveled. The wood bases are then coated with 8 generous layers of Clearcoat to bring out the rich details of the wood as well as to protect it for years of use.
